From April 14 to 19, the 46th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Final was held in Luxor, Egypt. The NJUPT team composed of Prof. Chen Zhi as the coach and 2020 undergraduates He Lehan, Chen Yixin and Zhao Yizhou as the team members participated in the 46th ICPC World Finals, and achieved a breakthrough result, ranked 11th and won the bronze medal.

International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the world's largest, highest level and very bench-marking international computer science competition, and an important platform for international scientific and technological, educational and cultural exchanges in the fields of electronic information, computers and software, etc. The competition aims to fully demonstrate the innovation ability, team spirit and will of college students, as well as their ability to use computers to analyze and solve problems under pressure. This year's World Final, organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), was attended by 124 university teams (1 team from each university) from 38 countries and regions, with 12 medals. Three universities in mainland China won medals at the final, with Peking University winning the gold medal and the championship, and Tsinghua University and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications winning the bronze medal in that order.
