On November 19, the award ceremony of TI Cup 2023 National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest was held in Beijing. NJUPT was awarded the 30th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award (Schools), and instructor Xiao Jian was awarded the 30th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award (Individuals).

　　Mr. Guan Xiaohong, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and head of the Expert Group of National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest, Mr. Chai Wei, vice president of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Mr. Jiang Han, president of Texas Instruments China, Mr. Zhao Xianli, deputy director of the Organizing Committee of National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee of the National Contest), Mr. Luo Xinmin, secretary-general of the Organizing Committee of the National Contest, Mr. Yue Jiguang, executive deputy leader of the Expert Group of the Organizing Committee of the National Contest, representatives of the organizing committees of the provincial and municipal contests, representatives of professional teachers of the colleges and universities, as well as the representatives of the teams that have won the national prizes for the contest, participated in this grand ceremony.

　　National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is one of the discipline contests for college students jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is a mass scientific and technological activity for college students, and it is the largest, most widely participated and highly influential electronic design contest in China. At the ceremony, 18 universities were honored with the 30th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award (Schools) and 23 instructors were honored with the 30th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award (Individuals).

　　NJUPT has always attached great importance to the cultivation of college students' comprehensive ability of practice and innovation, constantly improving the four-level innovation and practice education system of the state-province-school-institute, continuously optimizing the electronic design and innovation training mode, creating a strong innovation and entrepreneurship culture, and attracting a large number of outstanding students and instructors to devote themselves to innovation contests. In the contest students won a total of more than 50 national first prizes, and won the cup twice in 1997 and 2017.
